Q- What does Islam say about marital rape?
A- One of the objectives of marriage is to fulfill ones inner sexual desires and safeguard ones chastity. Both spouses should consider the objective of marriage and endeavour to the best of one’s ability.
Prophet pbuh said: “If a woman spends the night deserting her husband’s bed (does not sleep with him), then the angels send their curses on her till she comes back (to her husband).”- Bukhari 4794
While this hadith represents rights of husbands,he has duty to fulfill his wife’s desires too.In fact, if the husband takes an oath not to consummate with the wife for four months, he is penalised with the burden of a divorce from his side.
Islam does not approve of the concept of marital rape. However, intercourse is an outcome of a mutual feeling of love and desire.
Thus force would not arise, a forced intercourse in a marital relationship is not rape, rather who ever gives up rights of other is sinful either be man or woman but there is no prescribed punishment for it for either of them in Shariah

Q- Is it permissible for a step father in law to marry his step daughter in law after she gets divorced from his step son?
A- Yes , it is permissible for him to marry her after she gets divorced from her husband because the step father after marrying this woman who has a married son becomes mahram for this woman and her daughters by marriage but he doesn’t become mahram to this step son’s wife as he is not by blood father of this boy. Real father in law becomes a mahram for son’s wife because the son is his blood but incase of step father, the man becomes the mahram for daughters in the house by marriage to their mother and not sharing the blood.
